This is great, Lee, thanks.

The dis-java-vrml working group shares interest in several of these topics.
We have already done some preliminary analysis of time referencing, which is
different for DIS, Java and VRML. I expect that we will eventually want to
produce a special Java class which provides appropriate accessor methods
for all the various time-referencing needs which exist. Initial info is at
http://www.stl.nps.navy.mil/dis-java-vrml/references.html#Time

I further expect that we will want to remain interoperable with all
GeoVRML coordinate system and terrain conventions as they emerge.

We plan to hold the djv meeting Tuesday afternoon at VRML 98. Perhaps
we should each schedule an agenda item for snapshot briefings of each
working group's goals to the other.

all the best, Don
